Jess is a dedicated therapist who has experience in providing paediatric therapy across speech, language and communication development. Jess has a passionate interest in working with children with all types of hearing loss, from chronic middle ear infections through to profound sensorineural hearing losses, including children with Microtia and Atresia and Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder (ANSD).
Jess is passionate about supporting and understanding the needs of families so that they can help their child reach their goals. She achieves this through her functional and flexible approach to therapy. Jess is also a Mum and understands how busy life can get!
As a certified Listening and Spoken Language Specialist, Auditory-Verbal Therapist (LSLS Cert., AVT), Jess has completed additional study and extensive training working solely with children with hearing loss including children who wear hearing aids and cochlear implants so that they can learn to listen and speak to their full potential.
At JT Speech Pathology, we provide individualised and evidence-based speech therapy services. Our approach is family-centred and focuses on achieving communication goals through fun and play based activities.
We understand that children feel more relaxed in the comfort of their own home, which is exactly why we offer therapy within the home environment. We travel within Toowoomba and the Darling Downs region.

Jess is a certified Listening and Spoken Language Specialist. This means she has completed extensive clinical practice working solely with children with hearing loss, specific and ongoing professional development in this area and peer mentoring. Additionally, she has completed the Healthy Hearing Clinical Speech Pathology - Paediatric Hearing Loss and the Hear, Yarn, Learn, Play - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children with Conductive Hearing Loss courses.
A Listening and Spoken Language Specialist, is a professional that has completed significant additional training and study in the areas of hearing loss through The AG Bell Academy.
